ASRAB would like to invite our members to come out for a fun evening of rock climbing to wrap up the fall season and celebrate the holidays! No climbing experience is necessary, wear comfortable clothing for moving in, and bring a clean pair of socks to wear in the climbing shoes.
ASRAB members of all ages have been invited to the Tiger Taekwondo studio for an opportunity to try Taekwondo! Taekwondo is the art of self defense that originated in Korea, and is recognized as one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world.
Please wear comfortable active wear clothing you can move around in, and bring water. All participants will need an assistant during the session, so if you have a friend or family member who can attend please bring them! (more…)
Lace up and join us out on the ice this season to participate in ASRAB’s blind hockey program with our local team, the Edmonton See Hawks! Blind hockey in Edmonton is played with both visually impaired and sighted players (for support) on the same team. This program is best suited to anyone ages 13 and up who have some experience skating. Full hockey equipment is required.

Goalball is a Paralympic sport specifically designed for players with visual impairments. Join us for an introduction to the sport and the opportunity to try playing! Sighted participants welcome to try as well!

Movement for Me is a physical literacy program for children with visual impairments that focuses on learning and improving movement skills essential for sport and leisure activities. We learn through games, songs, and play.
The Red Deer session will introduce Goalball, as well as focus on practicing fundamental movement skills, in a fun and supportive environment!
Ages 4-12 years old.
