ASRAB is sorry to announce the recent passing of Darlene Murphy.
Darlene was a longtime ASRAB volunteer – engaged over the years in every facet of Association activities. She was active with ASRAB on the Board, and served as ASRAB President.
She was a senior technical goalball official for over 30 years, working the score table at both the recently hosted ASRAB Goalball Championships (2014 Seniors and 2016 Juniors). She was available to offer constructive feedback on the challenges of non-profits, and attended our AGMs to offer her support and comments. She was the Count Room Supervisor at all of our ASRAB casinos. Darlene was also involved with CBSA and IBSA. She will be sorely missed. (more…)
